Weights are typical averages. How you scoop changes it, so for baking, a kitchen scale is the most accurate.

FAQ

How many grams are in a cup?

It depends on the ingredient, because a cup measures volume, not weight. A cup of all-purpose flour is about 120 g, but a cup of sugar is about 198 g and a cup of butter is 227 g.

How many tablespoons are in a cup?

There are 16 tablespoons in a US cup, and 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon, so 48 teaspoons in a cup.

What is 350°F in Celsius?

350°F is about 177°C. Many recipes round it to 180°C, or 160°C for a fan (convection) oven.
